Abstract :
This article describes a practical realization concept of communication system architecture to be deployed in MIG-29 airplanes. The system allows achieving situational awareness. The article proposes the implementation of Artificial Intelligence methods to the system which would accelerate it. This continuous on-line access to information increases the pilot´s situational awareness, which directly translates into an increase of the probability of finishing the task and letting the pilot to get back safely to the home airport. The system also allows achieving interoperability with NATO systems.
