Abstract :
The characterization of supraharmonics referring to conducted disturbances at frequencies above 2 kHz is gaining interest because of their interaction with the range of frequencies occurring in practical applications such as smart meter power-line communication. This paper reviews various aspects concerning the measurement and representation of the supraharmonics, as well as approximated modelling that can be used in the presence of inverters. Experimental results referring to photovoltaic systems are included.
