Abstract :
In this paper, a simulation based modeling method of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) is proposed to predict and analyze the electromagnetic interference (EMI) in a real vehicle system. In order to create an equivalent circuit, characteristics of IPMSM under vehicle drive system is introduced and extraction methods of dynamic and parasitic parameters are presented by using finite element method. The proposed modeling method was verified through an experiment on an actual hybrid electric vehicle. The simulation and measurement results show that proposed modeling is valid for predicting and analyzing the EMI in a real vehicle drive system.
