Abstract :
It is a convenient way to produce strong shock waves (SSWs) with fast front by using underwater electrical wire explosion (UEWE). Or accurately saying, UEWE transfers electrical energy to mechanical energy directly. Thus the relationships between circuit parameters and shock wave characteristics are worth to be investigated. Establishing equipment with variable circuit parameters is helpful to research SSWs´ characteristics, which is the main purpose of this paper.
