Abstract :
Summary form only given. Secondary arc initiation in the electrical distribution (ED) of spacecrafts (SC) is much sensitive to the SC environment and a kind of primary discharge. Standard procedures on secondary arc tests imply electrostatic discharge (ESD) as an only source of arcing. However, the problem of secondary arcing is actual also in equipment where ESD has no chance to happen.
