Abstract :
Summary form only given. The report presents the results of computer simulation of electron-optical system with a plasma emitter1. Simulations are performed using the KOBRA3-INP2, OOPIC Pro (XOOPIC)3 and KARAT4 program codes. The given results describe the formation and transportation of electron beam in a wide range of accelerating voltage (10-120 keV) and current (200 mA) values. The trajectory analysis is executed. The influence of the amplitude and configuration of the electric and magnetic fields on the emitting surface position, crossover and the energy and electrons angular distribution in the beam are defined. The mechanisms of the gas influence on beam energy inhomogeneity and current, which are at the regions of primary formation, accelerating and transporting are described. Recommendations for optimizing an electron-optical system with a plasma emitter for its using in non-vacuum electron beam apparatus are performed.
