  • Abstract
    We report a three-dimensional study of surface plasmons in random-morphology nanoparticles by combining spatially resolved electron energy loss spectroscopy, which probes optical excitations, and cathodoluminescence, which probes radiative decay, in a scanning transmission electron microscope.
