Abstract :
Stabilization of premixed methane/air flames with a flow speed up to 20 m/s was realized using a 50 Hz nanosecond Nd:YAG laser induced plasma. The stability of the flames in terms of blow off limit and the temporal evolution of the flame kernel generated by the laser plasmas were investigated.
