Abstract :
We demonstrate a 1.5×10-4 room temperature conversion efficiency and 0.29 μJ pulse energy for narrowband terahertz generation in PPLN pumped with ultrafast pulses at 800 nm by experimentally and numerically optimizing the pump-pulse format.
