Abstract :
The article presents a high power broadband microwave attenuator, where the planar film resistors on the BeO dielectric basis are used as dissipative elements. The attenuator is made in the form of concerted U-shaped structures, which are cascaded through the segments of microstrip transmission lines. A significant expansion of operating frequency band has been achieved by selecting the transmission ratio for each U-shaped structure. The transmission ratio provides the same value of the dissipated power.
