Abstract
The effects of large buildings on the radio waves propagation are considered, in particular at the most commonly used terrestrial broadcasting frequencies (upper VHF or lower UHF, approximately between 0.1 GHz and 0.8 GHz). A numerical full wave analysis, with a commercial software, on the transmissions and scattering of complete buildings has been carried out and results are presented, showing conditions for a reduced attenuation and a considerable transparency.
