Abstract
The frequency bands above 6 GHz up to millimeter-waves are a promising candidate to mitigate the scarcity of available spectrum in future mobile radio network deployments. The knowledge of the radio channel in these bands and a comprehensive channel model is vital for the design of such future systems. In this paper we present channel measurements that have been simultaneously performed at 10 GHz and 60.4 GHz in an urban access scenario. These measurement results are intended to contribute to the ongoing discussion on 5G channel models for the frequency bands above 6 GHz.
