Abstract :
Processing data coming from sensors in mobile devices continuously requires ultra-low power consumption of the system. The microcontroller unit (MCU) is central in this system. This paper presents an MCU for Internet of Things (IoT) applications and in particular it addresses how to operate the MCU in efficiency sweet spots to achieve the overall lowest possible power consumption.
