Abstract
Every sensor in sensor network creates a large amounts of data, and each has its own characteristics and attributes according to its specific purpose. All of these data, while usually stored as a database, will be further processed by a collector node to obtain specific information, both in the temporal and spatial perspective. Although each sensor is autonomous, all of the data generated by each sensor has a knowledge relation with other data. However, such relationships have never been maintained specifically as a knowledge model. This research only proposes autonomous knowledge-based systems to store data generated by the sensors as knowledge model and maintain the knowledge relation among them. There are no quantitative result from a real implementation. But from this proposed solution, we can expect an enhancement in data quality and data interpretation by migrating from database to knowledge model. This is an outcome from extending data processing and knowledge exchanging between autonomous knowledge-based systems to obtain new knowledge.
