Abstract :
This paper takes a 298,000T VLCC as the research object and the whole ship finite element model is built up for numerical analysis. The aim of this paper is to calculate and analyze the bearing reaction force of a VLCC under different loading case and wave parameter. Based on the analysis of the calculation results, rules of bearing reaction forces are concluded and discussed, which can be used for the research on shafting vibration and shafting alignment. Finally, some reasonable suggestions are given to the existing method of rational shafting alignment by comparing the bearing reaction forces under rational alignment and non-alignment state.
