Abstract :
This paper examines similarities and differences between Professional and Technical Communication and the development of the field of the Digital Humanities. The humanistic concerns of both fields offer natural alliances, as does the frequent colocation of DH and PTC faculty in departments of English. The paper examines a new syllabus for an introduction to DH graduate course offered by a PTC program as evidence of how PTC concerns are relevant to DH.
