Abstract
Jaundice or neonatal jaundice is the yellow discoloration of the skin and other tissues of a newborn infant. Thereby, invasive and non-invasive measurement is a common method that used by medical staffs to determine the total serum bilirubin (TSB) level in newborn infants. Unfortunately, non-invasive technique is more convenient and reliable compared to invasive technique. This paper is to give a basic overview about the invasive and non-invasive measurement in jaundice to the reader. Current technology and new method of non-invasive jaundice measurement also included in this paper.
