Abstract :
This paper discusses the changes of leakage inductance, inter winding capacitance and coil resistance due to different thickness of coils. Path of magnetic flux in magnetic devices depends on the coils arrangement and directly gives and impact to leakage inductance produced between the coils. Several designs are being simulated by using COMSOL multiphysics software in 2D Axial Simulation with ultra high frequency ranging from 100MHz to 1GHz. At the end of the discussion, optimal design which represents acceptable value of parasitic components is selected.
