  • Abstract
    WSNs always consist of numerous micro-sensor nodes which are deployed randomly in the designated area. Due to the hash deploy environments and energy restriction, nodes in WSN may fail and impact the performance of the whole network. This paper presents CCFR: a node failure restoration algorithm via cooperative communication. Without the move of nodes, CCFR can prevent the network from dividing into disjoint segments because of the failure of a cut-vertex. It can also optimize the connectivity of the network if the failed node is not a cut-vertex. Performance of CCFR is validated by extensive simulation experiments.
