Abstract
A new plan for the transmission of DC wind power is proposed, which can be favorable for the absorption of wind power. The plan represents non-equilibrium between the system frequency and transmission by making use of the DC power modulation with the droop control deviation formed by the DC transmission deviation and frequency deviation linear combination as the reference. It declines the non-equilibrium of system frequency and transmission from the perspective of removing the deviations by adjusting the fixed current parameter of DC transmission system for controlling the DC transmission power, thus to improve the system stability. A set of control plan applicable for the above mentioned technology has been designed, and the flows and specific realization steps are illustrated in detail. Eventually, the effectiveness of the control strategy designed by the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation of CIGRE HVDC Benchmark model is verified.
