Abstract
In order to study the different moisture content effects on the influences of loess compression deformation characteristics in seasonal frozen soil area, getting loess in Shanxi Yangqu tunnel constraints face, for different moisture content and confining compression test of different freeze-thaw cycles. Compression deformation coefficient are introduced to express the soil compression deformation characteristics. Found that the coefficient of compression deformation of loess increased with the increase of moisture content and freeze-thaw cycles. With the increase of moisture content, the growth of compression deformation coefficient has also been gradually increased after different freeze-thaw cycles. And there is a threshold value of moisture content, making the characteristics of compression deformation of loess have a significant impact by freeze-thaw cycle in the region.
