Abstract :
In this paper, a finite element model of infrared a spherical glass lens molding process was built by using commercial finite element software ANSYS14.5. The final shape of the lens was obtained by numerical simulation analysis of the glass lens molding on a certain molding conditions. Compared with the design value, the deviation of the molded lens is less in lens center, but a maximum deviation of ~10µm at the edge. The simulation results are useful for the improvement of molding process.
