Abstract
By example of the tower crane of construction hoisting machinery, the stress of the standard mast section joint was analyzed. Aiming at the stress concentration easy to occur in the standard mast section connecting structure, a new connecting structure is proposed, which extends a guard plate at the force position of the joint. The guard plate increased the bottom area of the joint made the standard mast section more stable and the cross section more uniform that could avoid the stress concentration. In further simulation analysis by ANSYS software, the final results showed that the new structure was considered more reasonable, could help to improve the safety of the construction hoisting machinery.
