Abstract :
Aiming at the translation-torsion coupling vibration problem of eccentric structure under the action of earthquake, Viscoelastic damper is used to control translational and torsional vibration of eccentric structure under seismic action. This paper analyses and compares the structure vibration response under control and without control. Numerical calculation shows that the translational and torsional vibration damping ratio of the structure under the effect of control can reach maximum of 25.47% and 60.26% respectively. Thus illustrates the viscoelastic damper for vibration control of eccentric structure is effective.
