Abstract :
This paper presents the full analysis and design details of an RF subsystem used in dynamic spectrum sharing (DyS2) system at TV band. The interferences between DyS2 system and TV system are analyzed to derive the design demands of RF subsystem used in DyS2 system. The analyses are based on the criterion that the receivers in RF subsystem must alleviate the interference caused by TV system and the transmitters in RF subsystem must avoid influencing the TV system. Based on these analyses and the system planning, the RF subsystem was designed, fabricated, and measured. The subsystem has been used in the demonstration network of DyS2 system at TV band. All the results show that the RF subsystem has enough performance to be used in DyS2 system at TV band.
