Abstract :
The papers in this special section focus on the use of predictive modeling in the area of health informatics. These papers were presented at the fifth BCB conference that was held in September 2014 at Newport Beach, CA. Predictive modeling in health informatics is an emerging discipline, data analytics in the era of Digital Health. The BCB conference emphasizes research projects with new computer science and information science such as machine learning and entity classification.
