Abstract :
This paper provides design guidelines for the passive LC filters. Based on these guidelines, a method to design a new type of a passive filter, called hybrid LC filter, is proposed. A filter design example accompanies the considerations; simulation and test results of the proposed filter in time and frequency domains are shown.
