Abstract :
This paper presents a method for evaluating radio frequency identification (RFID) 3D readable ranges, implemented by integrating a spherical scanning antenna measurement system for RFID static tests in an anechoic chamber environment. Also presented with demonstrative examples are measurement efficiency in terms of total elapsed measurement time, figures of merit on characterizing the tag readable range of the static test results, and the associated system validations.
