I have been working in a university for all of my professional career, and have published more than 400 peer-reviewed full papers in a range of academic journals, including the IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation. In my teaching commitments I have not had the benefit of assistance from permanent tenured staff such as assistant professors and research associates, but on the other hand, in my research work I have had the good fortune of collaborating with several excellent postdocs who worked in my laboratory for periods of a year or longer. Thus, most of my published papers have been based on experimental results obtained by those postdocs and many PhD and master-course students.
