Abstract :
Modern high-tech organizations face incomplete information. Incompleteness stems from a number of sources: an incomplete understanding of new technological capabilities, an incomplete understanding of new market entrants, and an incomplete understanding of how complex goods are used and valued in the marketplace. All these features challenge the conventional marketplace. New forms of network organization are a possible answer to incomplete information. However, networks require several key aspects to function well, and provide benefits to all partners.
