Abstract :
In this issue of IEEE Power Electronics Magazine, the ???President???s Message??? indicates that the IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) has been expanding its service to the global power electronics engineering community by actively seeking collaboration with national and regional power electronics institutes. PELS President Braham Ferreira notes that the latest IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition-Asia agreement between PELS, the China Electrotechnical Society, the Korean Institute for Power Electronics, and the Industry Application Society of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan is another landmark is this globalization.
