    The smartwatch has been seen as ´the next big thing´ in consumer tech for several years. In fact, a number of devices have already been launched by LG, Sony and Kickstarter company Pebble. In September, Samsung launched the Galaxy Gear at Berlin´s IFA consumer technology trade show.
