Abstract :
A SYSTEM developed to detect movement on the other side of walls by eavesdropping on Wi-Fi signals has been refined far enough to detect breathing and to use a wider range of RF sources. It could find applications as diverse as unobtrusively monitoring the condition of vulnerable users in their own homes and detecting problems on the railway network.
