Abstract :
This algorithm considers the direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation in a nonuniform white noise background. The proposed power domain (PD) approach avoids the estimation of actual noise variances to gain a considerable advantage over the existing maximum-likelihood (ML) algorithm for nonuniform noise.
