Abstract :
I am pleased to offer tutorial VI to members of the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society. I am certain that many readers will find the content of this tutorial to be a stimulating resource. For your information, we have a few other papers in the pipeline so that the next tutorial should be coming fairly soon. However, we did not want to delay the publication of this important material any further. It is our hope to provide our readers with three to five quality tutorial articles per year. To accomplish this goal, we need our members to provide content. Therefore, I encourage you to consider submitting a quality paper that helps our members understand the salient problems in a particular topic along with current and emerging solutions. We simply require that the topic has clear application in an electronic system operating in a space, air, ocean, or ground environment.
