Comments on "On the applicability of Weyuker property 9 to object-oriented structural inheritance complexity metrics"

In this paper, we point out some discrepancies in a correspondence published in this journal recently by Gursaran and G. Roy (see ibid., vol. 27, no. 4, p. 381-4 (2001)). Due to the discrepancies, the central two "theorems" and two "corollaries" claimed in that correspondence may not be held true in some extreme circumstances and, therefore, its main conclusion cannot be drawn for all the possible cases.
