Abstract :
Novel multimode equivalent network representations for multiple inductive and capacitive posts in rectangular waveguides are presented. The network representations art derived from a rigorous formulation that leads to frequency independent integral equations. The network representations developed are used to compute the response of several waveguide devices, and comparisons between measured and simulated performances are also included, showing very good agreement up to millimetre-wave frequencies
