Abstract :
A two channel, 2.4 Gbit/s CPFSK transmission experiment over 560 km using erbium doped fibre amplifiers with a receiver sensitivity of -27 dBm is demonstrated. Four wave mixing effects are shown to be the dominant consideration for the determination of channel spacing.
