Editorial

IEEE-NEMS 2103 is a well-known international conference on micro-nano technologies. This year it was held on April 7-10, 2013 in Suzhou, China. Based on the great efforts from the committee members and the support of researchers, IEEE-NEMS 2013 received over 540 submissions from 30 countries and regions worldwide. Finally, 303 papers were selected by the 100 members in the Technical Program Committee (TPC). We continued our great friendship with Micro & Nano Letters which has published peer-reviewed special sections for the IEEE-NEMS conference for the past three years. We advertised this news on the conference website and throughout the conference. It came out with very good results: we received 73 papers in total after the conference, and eventually 33 of them, from eight countries or regions, went through the peer review process and were accepted for this special section.
