Abstract :
Highly nonlinear dispersion-flattened fibres with dispersion slope of 0.0002 ps/nm2/km and Aeff of 16.5 μm2 have successfully been fabricated. Quasi-tunable wavelength conversion and wideband supercontinuum generation with low input pulse power are demonstrated.
