Abstract :
The article by Porsani and Ulrych (see IEEE Trans. Acoust., Speech, Signal Processing, vol.37, no.1, p.1680, 1989) presented a method for calculating discrete convolution by means of a tap-delay line structure in conjunction with the Levinson-Durbin recursions as a new alternative to the conventional discrete convolution method. We show that care must be taken in implementing this algorithm.<>
