Abstract
A class of upper and a class of lower bounds to the error probability of
-ary coherent-phase-shift-keyed (CPSK) signals, transmitted through a nondistorting channel, in the presence of additive Gaussian noise and multiple unequal power cochannel interferers are obtained. These bounds are derived by utilizing an isomorphism theorem describing various geometric properties of finite-dimensional moment spaces and can be seen to be readily evaluable. Numerical results are presented, for the binary case, for two systems of interest which show these moment space bounds to be quite tight.
