Abstract :
A new coplanar waveguide to rectangular waveguide end launcher is experimentally demonstrated. The end launcher operates over the Ka-band frequencies that are designated for the NASA Advanced Communication Technology Satellite (ACTS) uplink. The measured insertion loss and return loss are better than 0.5 and -10 dB, respectively.
