Abstract
In this paper, a new tool is presented for the identification and localization of electromagnetic sources. The tool is based on independent component analysis techniques and exploits an efficient empirical model of electromagnetic propagation such as the Okumura-Hata one. The identification and localization of sources is obtained by processing a suitable number of field data, measured at certain points, and solving an inverse problem. Several examples of application are also given in order to show the performance of the localization tool
