Abstract :
In this paper, a computationally efficient model of a broad band microwave rectenna is presented. A rectenna is a microwave power receiver: it includes a rectifying circuit and an antenna. In this paper, the combination of a 3-D edge finite-element method with a Padeacute rational approximation procedure allows a fast characterization of the antenna over the wide frequency band. Then an equivalent circuit of the whole device including distributed parts and lumped nonlinear components is easily obtained. A global circuit time domain simulation of the rectenna with PSPICE is thus available
