Abstract :
The authors report on the emission characteristics of category 5 cable plant in some typical situations, and offer an assessment of receiver performance and complexity, comparing the NRZ, MLT3, BPR1, and BPR4 line codes for 155 Mb/s transmission on category 5 unshielded twisted-pair cable (UTP)
