Customised, integrated and agile [supply chains]

There are three challenges for the future supply chain; to be customised, integrated and agile. The article discusses whether they can be achieved, and how. Supply chains of the future will be shaped by pioneers who are prepared to meet the marketing challenges of tomorrow with the emerging technologies of today, and by making a quantum leap in terms of how supply chain relationships are managed. The technology is here, the new relationships that are needed truly to exploit it need an even greater act of faith.
