Abstract :
Not all manufacturers blame outside influences for the current plight of UK manufacturing industry. Lambda UK believes its future is in its own hands. The company makes power supplies. It uses design for manual assembly. Lambda values its production staff, and knows they understand the production processes and problems, and are best placed to help solve them. Everyone takes an hour out of the production process each week to get together in teams and make improvements.
