Abstract :
In a market suffering a seemingly perpetual downturn, STMicroelectronics is outperforming its competitors. The diversity of its product lines, technologies, alliances and customer base is reckoned to be a strength for ST, but it means that the group often finds itself managing and anticipating the needs of a complex network of internal and external relationships. The article examines the company´s success.
