Abstract :
A simple laboratory demonstration of the phase-lock loop theory is described. The presentation uses an integrated circuit PLL, along with standard test equipment to demonstrate behavior for steady-state and dynamic conditions. Quasi-linear and nonlinear loop behavior are easily illustrated.
